
The "St. Nino" cross, also known as the Grapevine Cross, is a major symbol of the Georgian Orthodox Church since the 4th century AD. Saint Nino was a Cappadocian woman who preached Christianity in Iberia. Legend says the Virgin Mary gave St. Nino the grapevine cross.
