Teutonic Cross - also known as the Potent Cross, is a cross comprised of four Tau Crosses with flat bars across the ends of the arms. The Teutonic cross was assigned as a hospital order to the knights of the Teutonic (Germanic) Order, which was founded by Emperor Henry VI in 1191.
